ABOUT
The Student Agency is a student-run agency where students get to have first-hand experience on industrial practices. Our objectives are to further enhance the existing curriculum to a passionate group of students from the Diploma in Visual Communication and Media Design (DVMD). This is to further position DVMD as an industry-centric course and to create a niche for SP's Design School as the leading creative institution in the region.

How We Started
The Student Agency was founded by a lecturer, Noor Azhar Mohamed. Azhar wanted to create a medium from which students get to experience real briefs from real clients. The student agency started out with having only 3 student members. In the initial years, space was a major issue. The agency found themselves in a little corner of Hive. It was not conducive, neither was it cozy yet the students persevered and has since been appointed a new office at InnoV. The projects undertaken at first were all from internal clients, including Singapore Polytechnic and its various schools. It was only after having a commendable record did The Student Agency receives briefs from external clients. Amidst the hard work and determination, The Student Agency successfully set a benchmark for other design institutions to follow and we are continually growing and expanding to achieve the position of being the most realistic work environment for design students in any tertiary design institution in Singapore.
